Eric called this tour “Trans American Travelogue” because he was heading up the east coast on motorcycle with nothing but a backpack.  Pono Acres would be his first stop.  He set up his tent, right next to the silo.  The weather was chilly as you can see by Eric’s breath on the videos posted in the Concert gallery.  I don’t think he slept too well and later joked that he would be ditching the tent and staying in hotel rooms after that night.

Eric needed to borrow a guitar and amp.  My long time friend John Davis came through in spades.  Hooking Eric up with his beloved 1965 Fender Strat and Super Reverb.  Eric designed the poster and we brought Darin Back back to take pictures.  As usual, Darin did a phenomenal job on the pictures and video clips we’ve listed in the Concert gallery.

This is the one image I shot in this section on my iPhone. While it kind of looks like a spaceship about to take off, it is Eric’s campsite in front of the silo. You can barely make out his motorcycle..
